How do Ratchet Lever Hoists or Ratchet Rope Puller works!!If that is possible, please provide picture or video?
In the US this is usually called a come-along. There is a frame containing a drum on which the wire is wound. The drum has buttress-type teeth on one side, and there is a spring-loaded pawl fixed to the frame which prevents the drum from turning backwards.
The operating lever also has a pawl, so that it can drive the drum on the advance stroke and slip back over the drum teeth on the reverse stroke.
To allow the wire to extend one pawl at a time there's a spring-loaded tab that allows the ratchet lever to lift the fixed pawl just long enough for one tooth to pass so the operator can allow the wire to ease out against lever pressure. Repeated small motions of the lever at one end of its travel will allow the wire to extend one tooth at a time. Another tab releases the fixed pawl entirely so the wire can run free; but this can't be done (certainly safely, maybe at all -- it's been a while) until the load is entirely off the wire.
